He is a FCA and is a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers (CAIIB). He was associated with banking sector for more than 30 years. He was associated with State Bank of Travancore (SBT) for more than 15 years and was Specialist Cadre Chartered Accountant for SBT. He was also associated with AL Ahli Bank of Kuwait for around 14 years and retired as Assistant Head of its Corporate Credit Analysis Unit. He has rich exposure to International Corporate Environment, International Financial Reporting Standards, Banking Practices etc.

He is a ACA and holds a Diploma in Information System Audit (DISA), Certificate Course on Indian Accounting Standards, Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standard (DipIFRS). He has led the audit team for statutory or internal audits of airports, electricity companies, banks, manufacturing concerns, software companies, finance companies, service concerns and trading concerns. Has the experience of working with various software environments such as SAP, Oracle, Tally etc. and also is well equipped with use of Excel and other tech tools. Area of expertise includes GST and Corporate law advisory and litigations, MSME and Startup Advisory, Accounting standards, Internal audit, foreign exchange, Project Report Compilations etc.
